Sarah Derbyshire MBE
Sarah leads the Orchestras Live team, providing strategic direction. She works closely with the Chair and Board of Orchestras Live to ensure the highest standards of governance for the organisation. Sarah represents the organisation externally at a national level within the orchestral sector and beyond. As convener of the cross-sector Orchestras in Healthcare network, she has been a moving force behind the Orchestras in Healthcare reports, which have helped to increase the prominence of this work at national policy level. She works with the Production and Communications teams to develop the profile of the organisation, and to anticipate and influence change within the orchestral sector. She aims to ensure that Orchestras Live can inspire and collaborate with partners so that communities across the country have access to world-class orchestral experiences that are relevant to them.
