Natasha Solano
Natasha has worked as a Project and Events consultant within the creative sector both in the UK and in Trinidad and Tobago. She led on several projects in T&T including Young Voices Trinidad and Tobago (YVTT), Mentoring by the Masters, Bocas Lit Festival children’s programme, and the musical theatre production Jab Molassie. She developed her passion for collaborating with artists, allowing creative individuals and organisations to express themselves freely whilst using her extensive Project and Administrative background to collate innovative ideas to achieve the best result. She was also the Arts Manager for the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Trinidad and Tobago.
Natasha Freelancers in the UK on several projects, primarily as Project and Events manager with Brixton Chamber Orchestra, managing their flagship projects of touring council housing estates in Summer and Christmas, as well as several other community events. Working to engage and shape meaningful community relationships in Lambeth, London and further develop the love of orchestral music, especially with the younger generation.
She also worked in the City of London in a cultural mix of global financial organisations, holds a Diploma in Business Administration and has extensive hands-on knowledge in Operations, Marketing and Collaborative Facilitation work.
She has volunteered timelessly with charities, working with the homeless of London and caring for Senior Citizens within her community. She enjoyed Ballet and other popular types of dances for over 20 years and has a great passion for all performing arts.
