Kerry is the Head of Luton Music Service and has been working as a singing and choral specialist with the service for the past 20 years. She grew up in Bedfordshire, playing in the county youth bands and orchestras, and trained as a classical singer. She retrained as a primary school teacher with music specialism 25 years ago. Kerry is passionate about the power of music to transform the lives of children and as a means of improving results in schools, and has project-managed many orchestral, jazz and singing opportunities within Luton schools and Luton Music Centre. Kerry is the Director of Luton Youth Cantores, a 50-strong choir from Luton, and has worked with Bedfordshire Youth Opera as vocal coach and chorus director. She is a governor of a Luton school and a trustee of Music Mark.
