Orchestras Live believes orchestras are for everyone. We are a national producer and create projects where music and creativity can thrive. We work with communities across England to forge new opportunities and access to world-class orchestral experiences.

Now in our 60th year, we work with artistic and community partners on innovative and inclusive orchestral experiences, in historically under-invested areas. Our projects can take place in schools, care homes, prisons, arts venues, museums, outdoors and online. Through our achievements we have built a reputation as a leader for the sector, with an emphasis on the areas of creative health, music education, and diversity and inclusion.

We always deliver activity in partnership, which makes our organisation unique in the sector. Every year our production team of six can work with around 40 locally-based partners and 20 orchestra, partners delivering up to 60 projects that create 35,000 live orchestral experiences for people in their local area. It is vital that we have robust systems and data in place to ensure we are collecting and storing information about all of this work, for financial compliance and to monitor our impact.
