We are delighted to announce the appointment of Tony Latham and Toby Wright to the Orchestras Live Board of Trustees.
Both bring a wealth of expertise from the music and business sectors, alongside a shared passion for enabling orchestral music to reach more people across the UK. Their combined experience will strengthen our governance and contribute to our mission of making orchestral music accessible to all.
Tony Latham
Tony has spent nearly 20 years in senior finance and commercial roles across the music industry. After initially qualifying as an accountant, he worked in a number of industries as auditor and consultant, before finding his natural home within the music sector.
A keen musician and multi-instrumentalist, Tony is deeply aware of the ways in which music can connect people and enrich lives, and is excited to be bringing a blend of commercial insight and a passion for music to Orchestras Live.
Toby Wright
Toby is a trustee, committee member, corporate adviser and chartered accountant, with over 30 years’ professional experience as an auditor.
With a life-long love of music, Toby is passionate about enabling the benefits of orchestras to be experienced and enjoyed by as many people as possible, across all ages and communities. He has a number of roles with musical organisations, in addition to being a keen amateur pianist, cellist and singer.
As Trustees, Tony and Toby will be integral to the governance and strategic direction of Orchestras Live. Trustees meet regularly throughout the year to oversee the charity’s financial health, develop long-term goals, and ensure that we continue to fulfil our mission. In addition to attending board meetings, trustees actively participate in committees and working groups, supporting various aspects of our work.
We are confident that Tony and Toby’s expertise will play a key role in shaping our future, and we look forward to working closely with them to ensure Orchestras Live continues to thrive, creating opportunities for communities across the UK to experience the power of orchestral music.
We are also pleased to announce the appointment of Caroline Downs and Scott Dickson as Trustees-designate. Prior to their formal appointment in November 2025, Caroline and Scott will be attending board meetings and shadowing the work of current trustees.
