Regenerate: Cultural Policy – what next?
NewsNews Story
We’re delighted to announce the return of Regenerate and our first online event of series three on Friday 11 November from 10am – 11.30am.
Regenerate is our series of online conversations designed to explore new ideas that challenge the sector’s thinking and help create positive change for the communities we engage with.
Our next event focuses on Cultural Policy – what next? and features an exciting group of panellists:
- Carol Leeming MBE, elected Fellow of the Royal Society for the Arts and Member of BLiM: Black Lives in Music
- John McMahon, Head of Education at the Royal Society of Arts
- Caroline McCormick, Founder and Director of creative agency, Achates
You can find out more about each of them below.
The panellists will consider what the continuing political and economic uncertainty means for our sector and our social impact? How can music/orchestras be at the forefront of helping communities to level up in the post-COVID-19 environment? How can the orchestral sector work with the wider cultural community to influence policy at the highest level?
New for this series is the introduction of breakout discussions, which will allow attendees time to discuss the key ideas and themes posed by the panellists, and to consider what collective action can be taken with other audience members.
Our last Regenerate events sold out quickly, so we encourage you to register early for this session. The event is free, as we wish to make it accessible and will feature closed captions.
Joining instructions will be sent to event attendees 48 hours before the event. Please note this event will be recorded.
