Orchestras in Healthcare network event
NewsNews Story
Orchestras Live, the Association of British Orchestras (ABO) and the National Performance Advisory Group (NPAG) for Arts, Heritage and Design in Hospitals are combining to run their second online event bringing together arts and health programme developers and managers from orchestras and hospitals.
This online event on Tuesday 17 January at 12pm will explore the value of collaboration in developing holistic programmes and unlocking resources. It offers an opportunity for senior leads in orchestras and hospitals who are engaged in arts programming to meet in regional groups from across the country.
The event will feature short presentations from senior leaders representing the NHS, orchestras and cultural sector. You’ll have the chance to explore the potential for new collaborations in regional breakout groups, focusing on holistic programmes that, whilst patient centred, bring benefits to creative practitioners and hospital staff alike. We’ll also look at the increasing priority in the NHS to support staff wellbeing through arts programmes.
There will also be an opportunity to explore the potential for new financial models to support programme delivery, with further discussion amongst your regional breakout groups to scope out future collaborations.
The event will be relevant to those in orchestras’ senior leadership responsible for strategy, education / participatory work and income development, to hospital arts managers and programme developers.
Please register to attend by Monday 16 January 2023 at 9am.
Full joining details will be sent shortly before the event takes place.
