NewsNews Story
Orchestras Live is pleased to welcome Chiara Dellerba into her role as Community Impact Coordinator (Midlands).
Chiara is an artist and producer based in Nottingham.
Born and raised in Italy where she gained a degree in Design and an MA in Design and Fine Arts. In 2014 she moved to Nottingham, a city that has become her base for her artistic practice, research and work.
Since graduating she has been working with several art galleries and organisations both in Italy and the UK, curating and producing public programmes, residencies and community projects. She has devoted much of her practice both as an artist and producer to the global and local development of socially engaged art practice. A multidisciplinary, participatory approach to producing is at the core of her practice. She is passionate about working closely with artists and communities of people to co-produce projects that bring people together to discover and share perspectives. Her work is experimental, inclusive, playful and gently activist in approach.
Before coming to Orchestras Live, Chiara held the role of Creative Engagement Curator at the National Justice Museum, developing exhibitions and creative interventions that radically explored ideas of justice and creativity. In this position, she co-led the creative development of award-winning temporary exhibitions and special projects.
Chiara joins Orchestras Live in the role of Community Impact Coordinator for the Midlands. She is looking forward to contributing to excellent, thought-provoking projects that have great creative and social impact!
