Innovative Approaches

We work tirelessly with our partners and communities to co-curate creative solutions to support some of the most vulnerable people.

Our model of work ensures that new ideas are embraced, and sustainable relationships are built between professional orchestras, event audiences, community groups and local partners including local authorities, music education hubs and health and social care providers.

It just helped me a lot to inspire myself to be […] the best I am really, the best version of me.

Big Conversations

We use our voice to advocate for the role of music in improving the population’s health and wellbeing and championing local communities and their aspirations.

Our Regenerate series and Tea break conversations help us share best practice and learning, and encourage ideas exchange with people from outside the orchestral sector.

Arts have intrinsic value - social, community building, mental/physical health, education, innovation. All cultural work of any merit has intrinsic value.

What Next?

Our Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation uplift will enable us to create a three-year strategy, which tests and develops new ideas and ways of working with our communities, as well as extending our influence and leadership within the orchestral sector.

None of this could be achieved without working closely in partnership, with co-design and delivery at the heart of our collective approach.
